THE FIRST BULL FIGHT

By Tim Lacy ’22

In the Pleistocenic Titan’s Wrath

The Emperor Julian of man

He stood at the side of the testronic bovine

Unarmed; no stone; with open hands

The auroch; grounded in flaming doubt

Lowered his horns for a mortal charge

Thy wise man guard for darkness to send em on’

But the bull drops all for living large

Aggressive still and still he grunts

Knight n’ servant of man’s kingdom come

But he’d kill ya if you shocked him hard at the front

That’s what makes it pure brotherhood
